Effortless desktop sharing

The software Netviewer enables real-time desktop sharing. Via Netviewer we can present JOBMATCHER and its functionalities or – by changing the perspective – assist you directly with your questions. You can download Netviewer by clicking on client (1.5 MB). If you use Internet Explorer you are able to directly run the software. With other browsers you have to save the client to your computer before you can run it. After starting the software you will be asked to enter an ID called ‘Sitzungsnummer’ which we provide via telephone at the beginning of our conference.

Especially when using third party software, security aspects are important. Netviewer ensures your and our safety with several precautionary measures:

Choice of programs

The participant who is sharing his desktop can choose which of the programs he wants to share and which should stay hidden. Hidden programs are blackened and cannot be controlled remotely.

Approval for desktop sharing and remote control

A change of perspective needs to be approved by the participant. A small pop-up will open stating that the perspective is to be changed. The change happens only when consent is given by clicking on »OK«. The same rule applies for remote control where one participant can operate the workstation of the other.

F12 key

Remote control can be withdrawn by pressing F12 at any point. Your conference partner is set back to »watch-only« immediately.

128 bit encryption

All data transferred during the Netviewer conference – starting with entering the ID ‘Sitzungsnummer’ – is encrypted (Blowfish algorithm using 128-bit key length). This corresponds to SSL encryption.

Security certificate

The ‚Fraunhofer Institut für Sichere Telekooperation (SIT)‘ (Institute for secure telecooperation)  in Darmstadt, Germany has tested Netviewer and confirmed its security innocuousness. The according certificate can be downloaded as a PDF (183 kB, in German).
